Summary

In 2024, the remains of an unidentified male were discovered in a tent in Salinas, California. The remains belong to an individual of unknown age and ethnicity, labeled presently as a 2024 John Doe. Despite exhaustive investigative efforts, the identity of the individual is as yet unresolved. The NamUs case ID assigned to this case is UP131073.

In 2025, Othram was enlisted to leverage Forensic-Grade Genome Sequencing® and forensic genetic genealogy to aid in identifying this John Doe.
